Toby Simkin is an Australian, born in England, splitting his time between China, Canada, Europe and the USA.  Since 2000, Toby has lived in China enabling a national network for presentation of Broadway touring productions for both import and export.

On Broadway, his producing credits include various Tony® Award winning shows.  He produces shows regularly in London's West End and throughout the world (including on its oceans).  For over 20 years, he has produced, managed and/or marketed over 150 productions.

Toby has been privileged to work with major Oscar®, Tony® and Grammy® winning stars such as Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo, José Carreras, Dame Joan Sutherland, Elton John, Victor Garber, Jerry Lewis, Martin Short, John Candy, Julie Andrews, Countess Rula Lenska, Brian Dennehy, Geoffrey Rush, Savion Glover, Vanessa Redgrave, Liam Neeson and Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

Through his wholly owned Chinese corporation, Toby controls worldwide rights to various new musical/film projects in development including "The Sacrifice of Yang GuiFei", "Tea 4 Two" and "The Great Big Chinese Show". 

Toby served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Theatre.com Inc., a company he founded as Buy Broadway in 1995, which grew from a personal vision for how to reach more international ticket buyers to a public corporation in 1998 and sold in 2000.  During this period, he personally produced the vast majority of new media campaigns for over 100 Broadway shows and 50 companies on Broadway and in the West End. Shows that Toby has been involved in marketing have garnered an additional 243 Tony® nominations and 96 wins.

Toby frequently consults and lectures on theatrical production, management and marketing. For 12 years, a consultant to Music Theatre International, the leading licensor of the majority of musical theatre and for 10 years, Vice President and Executive Producer of Nederlander Worldwide Entertainment, the world’s largest family owned theatre operator.  Toby is a member of several leading industry associations.

Partnering with theatrical impresario, Toby Simkin (Shen Tu Bin) in 1988 on the SkyDome Opening Ceremonies, DJ and Toby created a company (Toby Simkin & Associates Inc.) and have worked together on every project since. Over the course of the 20 year business relationship, DJ evolved his choreography skills to creative management, and with Toby, selected many award-winning shows for the company to focus on.

DJ served as Vice President, Creative of Theatre.com Inc., the company he jointly founded (with Toby as Buy Broadway) in 1995, and grew from a basement hobby to a public corporation in 1998 and sold in 2000. During this period, he supervised the creative direction and concepts for the vast majority of websites and online marketing campaigns for over 100 shows and 50 companies on Broadway and in the West End.

He is today focusing his efforts in Asia, working on a number of projects for both import and export between China and the rest of the world.

邬眺容是出生于加拿大的加拿大籍人,目前居住在中国上海市.他在年纪很小的时候便开始学习民族舞蹈,并且自己教学.不久之后,由于他的兴趣让他投身于现代与芭蕾舞的学习与教学. 邬眺容从10岁开始跳舞，最后成为从加拿大政府资助的艺术院校毕业的第一名男舞蹈演员 .在乌克兰基普的学习期间, 邬眺容有幸得到了基洛夫芭蕾学校著名舞蹈大师的指导与教学. 邬眺容充分发挥了他在艺术导演和舞台编导方面的天赋,先后12年间，在不同的舞蹈学校培育着具有极高天赋的年轻的舞蹈演员，并且在许多国家举办了巡回演出和活动。

1988年,邬眺容跟戏剧制片人托比辛肯(沈途彬)一起合作参与了SkyDome的开幕典礼,并且一起创办了名为Toby Simkin & Associates的公司,在此后的20年里,他们一起管理着管制公司的每个项目, 运用他在舞蹈方面的创作天赋,专注于跟托比一起为公司选择多部获奖作品.

1995年,邬眺容曾担任Theatre.com(与托比辛肯一起创办的公司,起初名为Buy Broadway)公司创作部门的副董事,刚开始仅仅是为了个人爱好.从1998年公司上市到2000年公司被出售,此期间,他成功的为超过百老汇和伦敦西区的100个舞台剧和50多个公司设计了网站和在线营销策略. 他目前打算提升自己的成就在亚洲开拓另一片天地,在中国与西方国家的几个进出口工作项目上努力.
