| Tea 4 Two is the
story of two young girls growing up in Shanghai, China pre-revolution
and attending a private girls' school. In 1940, before the country finds
itself changing, the two girls are separated violently and it is caught
on film by a passing young journalist.
One of the girls is taken to America with her diplomatic father and the other one grows up in China during the time of change. At the moment of their separation the two girls promise each other to write every day, with the hope of one day reuniting. With the lost photo of the girls' separation being shown at a photo exhibition in NYC many years later, the best friends are brought back together to share there lives, families and pages and pages of letters which they were still writing to each other. In Tea 4 Two we see how two best friends from the same background grow up so differently in two separate countries. We also watch the girls prove that friendship is forever. |
